June Is Such A Beautiful Month....

Roxie the dog and Mango the cat hanging out.  These two, who bully and irritate everyone else in the house (we have a lot of pets!) absolutely adore each other.
This is my work on Pam's  block from Crazy Quilters International's Fabulous First Timers Round Robin #15.  I embroidered and beaded the fish, worked the seam, embellished the leaves, and added the orange flowers. I have sent it on to Linda and can't wait to see what everyone else does with it.
The bleeding hearts are blooming all over my yard
This is my first attempt at a dragonfly. You can click on the picture to get a larger image.  The wings are angelina fiber.

  1. Hi Katy, your dog and cat look like twins! How cute! I love your dragonfly, very stunning. I haven't tried Angelina fibers yet, I'll have to.

  3. The block is beautifully stitched and the fish is all beaded on the back. Absolutely stunning!!!(I have the RR Pam's block) The dragonfly is gorgeous and I like the Angelina fiber. Is that all stitching on the wings?? Critters look content for the moment and love the bleeding hearts...Linda in NM

  4. I love what you have done in the dragonfly patch. The angelina makes good wings and your wandering flowers are perfect!
